350 Mile Challenge · 4 May 2015

At Northern Ireland Hospice, we care for more than 4,000 babies, children and adults with life-limiting illnesses, both in Hospice and in the community. We look after every patient's nursing, medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs with support for their family continuing into bereavement.

Story

‘350 Miles’ is how I plan to make a difference this NI Hospiceyear to the Northern Ireland Hospice. They are a truly amazing bunch who are funded 100% by public donations. They make a monumental difference to the lives and families of those suffering from life-limiting illnesses. In short, the Hospice adds life to days.

The 350 mile challenge is a concept that sprang to mind as I had a leisurely jog on the Doagh Road in Newtownabbey. I plan to do 3 things:

  • Run the Larne Half Marathon (21st March)
  • Run the Belfast City Marathon (4th May)
  • Run a grand total of 350 miles in the 12 weeks leading up to May 4th.
