‘350 Miles’ is how I plan to make a difference this year to the Northern Ireland Hospice. They are a truly amazing bunch who are funded 100% by public donations. They make a monumental difference to the lives and families of those suffering from life-limiting illnesses. In short, the Hospice adds life to days.

The 350 mile challenge is a concept that sprang to mind as I had a leisurely jog on the Doagh Road in Newtownabbey. I plan to do 3 things:

• Run the Larne Half Marathon (21st March)
• Run the Belfast City Marathon (4th May)
• Run a grand total of 350 miles in the 12 weeks leading up to May 4th.
