I am going to be jumping out of a plane on 18th October, clinging for dear life to someone who I hope knows what they're doing.

But it's so dangerous! I hear you cry. Don't worry, that's just the way I roll. And it's for a really good cause.

I'm risking my life in aid of the Urban Scholars program at Brunel University. The project aims to equip gifted kids from inner city schools with the resources, skills and confidence to achieve their potential.

It's basically a win-win situation as any money that you contribute will be matched by PwC to a maximum of £250. You will also receive gift aid on your donation. This means that you can feel at least doubly gratified when you make a donation because, for less than half the price, you will be making a real difference to some children’s lives.

I'm aiming to earn £300, but anything above this is a huge bonus so don't stop.

If it all goes according to plan I'll send you an account of the death defying stunt in a few weeks time.
