Vision Action aim to make eye care accessible and affordable overseas. We help the world to see through innovative programmes that reach out to some of the most remote communities throughout Africa. We began in 1989 and will continue until everyone across Africa has access to basic eye care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Did you know, 90% of people who are visually impaired live in poor or developing countries? We take for granted the gift of sight which is why I'm using the opportunity to climb Snowdon with the Optometry Society at Manchester University to raise funds to give this gift to others.

The charity of choice is Vision Aid Overseas. They provide the means to restore and aid eyesight in impoverished countries, training optometrists, carrying out eye sights and providing glasses so children can learn and adults can teach.

Join me in supporting this great cause and giving a donation, no matter how small.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
