I did not swim as a child and swimming is always something I have aspired to learn. My real motivation to start swim lessons a year ago is to be able to enjoy swimming with my children. 

The 1000 metre challenge is very important to me as a milestone of how far I have progressed.

I am especially pleased to be able to raise money for GOSHCC as they are a very worthwhile charity and helped so many families.
