HI FOLKS
This year when my grandson was born I decided to learn to swim so I could enjoy the water with him. I have never been able to swim and have a fear of deep water since I nearly drowned at 8 years old. So Jane set out to teach me this spring. I was fine till I had to swim in the deep end, but with Jane’s help and encouragement I did and achieved 12 lengths of the spectrum pool .I have decided to do the swim for the children and sponsor Cherry trees and Home Start I am aiming to do 18 lengths of the spectrum pool on September 5th Why 18 you may ask? Well I had a special friend who went to cherry trees and it would have been his 18th birthday this year and I wanted to do something to remember him. Hi folks just to let you all know I've done my swim today 1st September, I did it in 25mins and the first time I have done it in the pool without Jane.. I just want to thank evryone who's given, supported , encouraged me along the way, But a big thanks to Jane my swimming instructor she has worked so hard and given her time freely and been so supportive , with out you Jane this would never have been possible Thanks.
