I am raising money for Marie Curie Hospice in Edinburgh, they cared for my Mum during her last few weeks and were just incredible. They made my Mum's last few days bearable.

It costs £408 to care for a patient in one of the hospices for one day.

I've been asked many times when i've done my marathons if i was doing it for charity and to date i haven't. Reason being is that i wanted the money to be well earnt, not saying Marathons are easy but i've done 10 now so i wanted to raise my game.

My plan is to do the Highland Fling Race. It's  53miles  up the West Highland Way with an overall climb of 9693 feet. It starts at Milngavie and finishes at Tyndrum. It will not be easy and it's going to really hurt, but knowing i'm raising money and doing this for my Mum will get me to the end even if i have to crawl.
