Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My lovely Brother-in-law, Rob Sedgwick, was cared for at St Catherine's hospice in Crawley for the last few weeks of his life and sadly he passed away there earlier this week on 2nd August 2016.

He and my sister Sharon just got married in May this year and the best man at their wedding, a wonderful lady called Karen Espley! has taken on Rob's original charity challenge to raise £17K for the hospice, which is the amount that it takes to run the hospice every day.

The hospice do an amazing job at taking care of every single person staying there and their families as well.  The service they provide is so needed and valuable.  I know it would make Rob very happy to see donations raised for this very worthy cause.

The hospice already has a very special place in my heart as it looked after both my Mum and Dad at the end of their lives.

OK now to my run - I started running on Sunday 31 July and I will keep clocking up the Kms until I reach 100Km in 100 days (so by 8th November 2016).  If my back is playing up then I will walk (really fast) but I will clock up the 100K!.

I will personally donate a £1 for every £1 donated - so if I make my target of £2,000 from your support, I will donate another £2,000 to St Catherine's.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
