<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">Well I did it in 5.30,despite two toenails falling off and cramp after mile 21. Not sure what I would have done without St Johns Ambulance. They dressed my toes so I could continue and gave me leg massages to alleviate the cramp. Fantastic day! Thank you to all of you. The running is one thing, but when people are generous it motivates one to do incredible things. Thanks again!</span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. The marathon has always been on my list of things to do (I think I thought I was safe to have it there as the chances of getting a place are almost impossible)! But now I will be one of 36,000 pacing the streets on London on April 22nd, every one puffing and panting for a variety of different causes.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">The cause I am running for is HACT &ndash; the housing action charity, an organisation which pioneers solutions for some of the most marginalised in our society, the old, the poor and the newly arrived. An area close to my heart as I work with some of these people on a daily basis in my role at Genesis Housing Association. People&rsquo;s lives and living conditions are always hidden behind closed doors and housing is a way in to create change in communities. </span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">Despite my fitness background, I will need to get training!
