My story

                                                                           UPDATE

Finally After almost a year the Balloon flight which my mother set out to do but unfortunately did not make it is going to take place Sunday 24 April 2011 at Dalemain nr Penrith. It will be emotional. Thanks to everyone for their support.

Chris

Just to say thanks to everyone that has donated upto now.  I have set up my own site in memory of my parents as i will be doing a charity abseil down Leasowe Lighthouse 31 July 2010.  Anymore donations would be greatful as it will be going to St. John's Hospice.

My site is Chris's Charity Page

On 18 May 2010, Mum lost her battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She passed away peacefully and she is now up in heaven with my dad, reunited again. She will be missed lots and lots.

I would like to give a big thankyou to all the staff a St. John's Hospice in Wirral for their fantastic care and attention to my mum and myself.  They have been excellent and can't thank them enough.

                                                                    St. John's Hospice

From Sandy's other fundraising page www.justgiving.com/Sandy-Chee she has raised and hit the target money for Clatterbridge Centre of Oncology which she has been grateful for as she keeps that charity close to her heart.

But things have now changed and Sandy has now gone to St. John's Hospice in Wirral.  They have been excellent at treating her. She has asked that any further donations can be given to the hospice as they do a fantastic job and rely heavily on charity funding.

If you can please donate to this charity and thanks to everyone that has already donated to Clatterbridge Centre of Oncology.

P.S. We did have a date set for the charity balloon flight which was 22 May 2010 but as mum is no longer here in person we will carry on with the balloon ride in memory of her and her spirit will be there with us.
