Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I started running 2 years ago in March 2010 following my daughters horse riding accident in October 2009 where she fractured her spine and was air lifted by the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Whilst sitting with my daughter in the hospital I realised how lucky she was to still be able to walk and it made me want to start running again, something I hadn't really done since leaving school. I run with the Hadleigh Hares each week and have entered 5 events so far, a mix of cross counrty and road running.

The London Marathon, like for many others, will be my biggest challenge to date and being able to run it for such an amazing charity is spurring me on!

The charity is independent of direct government and National Lottery funding and is entirely dependent on fund-raising and contributions. To keep its two air ambulances flying and to provide the advanced medical equipment they carry, over £4million per year has to be raised.

It is such a vital service and both myself and the charity will appriciate any donation you can make.
