The Connection at St Martin’s is here to be with people as they recover from life on the streets and move on to meaningful, fulfilling futures and a place to call home. We work with people, not for them, and put every individual person at the centre of their recovery.

We did it!!! Best feeling in the world :-) got our medal and we did it in 5:47:58 thank u all for your support and generous donations! We are elated! Now time to recover..

Ahhhhh! 9 hours and we'll be at the start line!!

<p class="iphone-update">So not that long till Marathon day, am running over 10k on every run now averaging 6 minutes per mile. This week the aim is to get to 20k. Am feeling increasingly nervous about the event, although still excited. My fitness level has improved a ridiculous amount and I now really enjoy running!! Never thought id utter those words. I will definitely be keeping it up after the race.&nbsp;</p> <p class="iphone-update">Need to make sure I have every thing I need.. vaseline is aparently an important one for the ol' friction burn! Felt dizzy and was close to throwing up! But Maz helped me through, made the 35 min run with no walking, and covered 3 miles. Although Maz needs to take this back, his hurt quite a bit today!</p> <p>Hi <span style="color: #0000ff;">guys</span> and <span style="color: #ff00ff;">girlies</span>!!&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks so much for following the link to our donations page :) This will be my first time running a marathon, (26 miles!!) and I was really nervous about doing it but wanted to help raise money for <span style="color: #ff0000;">'The Connection at St Martins'</span> who are a brilliant organisation helping homeless in london every single day. They are not a shelter, (although they do provide emergency shelter) they provide specialist services to help people get back on their feet and regain their lives. From confidence building through art, to therapy for addiction, interview technique, the list goes on and on. What they do really does make a difference to each individual and every penny will help them build an even stronger team and support&nbsp;program. check out their website for more info on the great work they do! &nbsp;http://www.connection-at-stmartins.org.uk/ and follow them on twitter <span style="color: #ff0000;">@homelesslondon</span></p> <p><span style="color: #339966;">This is where you can really help that man/woman on the street!</span></p> <p>As I Said, I was really nervous about running as I never run and im sure my cardio is terrible, untill my brother Mario, turned to me at dinner and said, "ill do it with you" , knowing that he had already run the NY marathon 6 years ago I knew this would make ALL the difference in helping me achieve my goal! :-) .. then, my elder brother Stephen turned and said..
