We fund ground-breaking medical research to replace the use of animals in research

Story

Phil & I are participating in Tough Mudder this year (June) (a hardcore 12 mile-long obstacle course designed by the Special Forces to test strength, stamina, mental grit & camaraderie).  Both of us are animal lovers & believe that alternative medical research methods that do not harm our furry friends needs our support.

The Dr Hadwen Trust for Humane Research (DHT) is the UK’s leading medical research charity that funds and promotes the development of techniques and procedures to replace the use of animals in biomedical research and testing.

The DHT funds non animal medical research projects across the UK, helping in the fight against diseases such as CancerAsthma and Alzheimer’s.

Since 1970 the DHT has funded over 140 projects to replace animal experiments in medical research and has helped to save countless animal lives.

Please feel free to check out their website which will give you much more information on what they do and where the monies go, you will also see that many celebrities such as: Dame Judi Dench, Ricky Gervais, Joanna Lumley, Brian May continue to support this wonderful charity.

We would appreciate your encouragement and support in this event, a small donation would be greatly welcomed :)))

Thanks

Sara & Phil
