Story
Hellooo!!
In 2005 I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis and the last few years have been tough - I have been on a lot of medication and had hospital stays but at the momment it is under control! - I am not well enough to be running the London Marathon but plan to walk it along with other Myasthenics, their friends and families and full medical back up and support a week before the actual marathon it will take me two days to complete the 26.2 miles and I am sure there will be some blisteres along the way! This may sound easy but when I am not well I cannot even walk to my car or down the stairs so this would be an amazing achievement for me. Without the support and help from the MG specialists/ the reaserchers and all the fab people of the MGA forum I would not be here today and as such i like to give something in return!!
I also put on a lot of weight thanks to the steroids that mean I am well enough to be able to do this, so this is a win win situation for me as hopefully it will encourage me to lose a few stone
Please help me reach my target!
thanks xx
