Me and the children are aiming to walk at least 5 miles around the course on the hoe.  I am sure that I could persuade them to do more if we raise lots!!  Any of you that know me well will know that my stepdad was struck by a stroke in 2007...leaving him with locked-in syndrome (probably everyones worst nightmare!!).  This charity is one very close to my heart, they not only support the stroke survivor, but the families too.  They are involved in research, awarding grants and personal support...we need to help to make sure that this can continue!  Stroke is currently the 4th biggest killer in the Uk and it is the leading cause of long-term disability!  I am proud to be an ambassador for the association and all of the great work that they do (especially in Plymouth).

If nothing else makes you donate....my children are willing to get off on their bottoms and away from their screens so it must be a good cause!!
