Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving pages.

It is my great love for walking and desire to raise awareness of autism which has inspired me to take on the challenge of walking the coastal path from to Lands End. Starting out on 2 April 2010 ‘World Autism Awareness Day’, the itinerary for the journey along our beautiful coast line is planned, I do hope you will be able to join me at various points along the way.  My goal is to arrive at Lands End on 21 May. The full itinerary is on my page on the Lifeworks website  www.lifeworks-uk.org/saraswalk.html It is my hope that publicity from this walk will help to make more people aware of autism, and the typical day to day challenges that people on the autistic spectrum face due to their difficulties concerning social interaction and communication, sensory issues and anxieties.

With your help I hope to support the RNLI 'Life First' campaign. For anyone involved in coastal sports and recreational activities, the RNLI lifeguards provide a vital service. Lifeguards ensure that beaches are patrolled and also teach children and young people how to stay safe. You can read more about this at the following link: www.rnli-lifefirst.org.uk/
