Story
My lovely little niece, Greta, was born nine weeks premature in November 2007 and spent the first two months of her life in the neonatal intensive care unit at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. Greta and her family received wonderful care from the kind and supportive staff there. Greta is now a healthy, chatty, cheeky nearly 2 year old and we are so grateful to have her in our lives. To say thank you, I am taking part in the Great South Run 2009 to raise funds for the Forever Friends Appeal, which aims to raise £4.7 million towards a new neonatal intensive care unit at the Royal United Hospital.
