My story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page :D
I am climbing Mount Toubkal (High Atlas Mountains, Morocco) the second highest mountain in Northern Africa to help raise funds for Hope for a Child projects in Uganda. Hope for a Child is an amazing charity, and I really believe in their message:
"We believe in giving a hand up rather than a hand out"
Hope for a Child's strategy enables the worlds poorest families and their children to rise out of poverty by implementing schemes called Village Savings & Loan Associations.
It is particularly amazing for me to have this opportunity to climb Mount Toubkal as I travelled to the High Atlas Mountains in 2007 for my Duke of Edinburgh Gold expedition, however due to severe flooding I was unable to reach the summit. It is time for Mount Toubkal Take 2!
