Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In August of this year our family dog Paddy sadly passed away leaving a huge space in our lives. Paddy was a racing Greyhound who decided that he didn't fancy the Racetrack, luckily for us because that meant that we were able to adopt him :-) Paddy was in the care of the Retired Greyhound Trust Edinburgh Branch when we adopted him where he was amazingly well looked after and had 7 fantastic years with us.

When it came to considering another family dog we went straight back to the Retired Greyhound Trust and are now the proud owners of the beautiful Bash (see picture).

As most of you who know me will testify, I think Greyhounds are beautiful dogs and make absolutely fabulous pets. If I was in the position to do so, I would adopt lots of them :-) sadly though, I am not. so me and Bash have decided to help out by going on a sponsored walk to raise money and awareness for the Retired Greyhound Trust and the fabulous work they do in rehoming retired or injured Racing Greyhounds.

It would be great if you could help out too by donating whatever you can spare to make sure these dogs go on to have great lives after they have retired.

Thanks in advance for your contribution.

Sara and Bash x
