The Emily Ash Trust is an amazing charity based in Surrey. Many of my close friends give up so much of their valuable time to help with this charity and whilst we were living in Surrey, Neal and I did our bit too. But now we are living so far away it makes it very difficult for us to help as much as we'd like.
The charity helps children who are suffering from leukaemia and cancer. It also provides comfort and support to the families of these children who must all obviously be going through a very distressing time, and a time all of us can only hope and pray we will never have to experience!
Now I know running a half marathon may not seem such a great achievement to some of you but for those of you who know me well will know that I have trained really hard for this and will not be finding it easy I can tell you! I will be thinking of Emily and all the other children every step of the way and will be so proud with myself when I reach the finishing line.
So this is me doing my "little" bit for such a fantastic charity.
