This time last year my lifelong friends Nicola & Lucy were training hard for this event with Nicolas boyfriend Kris. They had no idea of the fate that awaited them. Kris tragically lost his life that day when he suffered a cardiac arrest due to an undiagnosed heart condition. How could he have known? How could this loss of such a young & lovely man have been prevented ? The answer is through CRYs. This wonderful charity raises awareness & provides screening & research, also supporting affected families.

Kris death affected our whole community. He has left a legacy of a legend. 

His death has left a massive void for many, especially in Nicolas life.
