Liz Beniams lost her 12 year battle with breast cancer in October 2011. Latterly she spent time at St Teresa’s Hospice in Darlington where she was cared for with a great deal of compassion, respect and dignity.

Team Liz (Sarah Beniams, Jonathan Beniams, Adrian Hemsley,Ian Hemsley, Laura Kirkbride, Nigel McDiarmid, Mark Thompson, Peter Doudican, Fiona Morgan, Brian Morgan, Andrea Marshall, Butch Marshall, Alec Smith, Sally Baxter, Lee Barker and Martin McLoughlin) a group of 16 friends and family are setting out to raise £5000 for the hospice. We aim to complete the National 3 Peaks; Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hrs or thereabouts starting on Saturday 25 August 2012.
