The Grand Appeal is the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity, transforming the lives of sick children from Bristol, the South West and beyond. Help save the lives of sick children, provide pioneering medical equipment and keep families together by donating or fundraising for The Grand Appeal.

Story

I am fundraising for Grand Appeal as they are the reason my baby cousin jacob is still with us and proving everyone wrong! Not only little jacob but my little cousin ellie may had major heart surgery when she was just 3 months old and is due to have another operation soon,
In August i will be taking part in the group skydive and in september i will be running a half marathon.

The Appeal raised £250,000 to provide a Paediatric Echocardiogram to the unit. This machine diagnosed Jacob and without it it Jacob may not be here now. The hospital is expanding by adding a world-leading and highly specialised Hybrid Cardiac Surgical Theatre. This state of the art new hybrid operating theatre will mean that far more children with heart problems will be able to receive treatment without the need for invasive surgery and in a safer multi-use environment. Please help to make this happen. This hospital is so close to mine and my families hearts so please donate every little will help!
