As many of you will know, I lost a dear friend, Cheryl, to cancer in January of this year. I am honoured to be taking part in the Race For Life with Team Cheryl this year in memory of our dear dear friend.

Team Cheryl is made up of a group of people, brought together by a single person,- our friend Cheryl, who lost her 18 month battle with cancer in January of this year. Some of us have run marathons, some of us haven’t ever even run for a bus, but we are all determined to do this 5km in honour of our friend, who we all miss every day. Cheryl ran in this event last year, in spite of her illness, so if she could, we can.

Please support not only Cheryl’s memory, but the ongoing battle against cancer, so that one day no one has to lose a mother, daughter, wife or friend to this horrid illness.
