This will be my second trek up Snowden, and I'm so excited as the cause is just amazing - building water wells around the world in places that need it the most.

Despite pur fasting in the long, hot summer days, we know that in the evenings we’ll be able to quench our thirst with a nice, cool glass of water.

But imagine not having that guarantee. Imagine going through the day parched, dehydrated and feeling faint, with only the choice at the end of it is drinking dirty water or no water at all. 

A shocking 1 in 10 people across the world don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water

There is a reason the Prophet (saw) said: “The best charity to give is water.” [Ibn Majah]
