Yorkshire Cancer Research is an independent charity dedicated to funding world-leading research to pioneer early cancer diagnosis and discover new and better treatments. Each year we fund £10 million of world-leading research to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to cut my hair short for the first time in a very long time and donate the hair to the Little Princess Trust so it can be used to make a wig for children with cancer or other such illnesses which cause them to lose their hair.

I am linking this page to the Little Princess Trust one as I would like to raise £350 for them and £1000 for this charity before I have my hair cut and have people choose which charity they would prefer to support.

I really love my long hair and this is a major decision to have it cut so much. I just feel I want to do something to help these charities raise money.

Last year a colleague died of cancer and another is affected by cancer this year. I already join in the Race for Life each year but wanted to do something more.

I would really appreciate any donations which are going to very worthy causes.
