Welcome to Brownie's South West Coastal Path Walk Page

Just in case you thought I might be sitting still all summer, I've decided to embark on a very worthy challenge. From 27th June to 3rd July I will be walking 112 miles of the South West Coastal Path between Budleigh Salterton (nr Exmouth) in Devon to Poole in Dorset in aid of The SMA Trust.
Why? I hear you ask. My friend Tim's 14 year old daughter, Octavia, suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) which affects the motor neurons in the spinal chord causing muscular weakness, severe disability and premature death.
Tim and his family and friends are aiming to raise £1 million this year through various challenges. Tim himself is walking the whole 630 miles of the South West Coastal Path and I will be accompanying him on the last leg.
