Story

In July I am attempting to walk 1200 miles from Land's End to John o' Groats which will take me 11 weeks to complete. I am walking the entire length of the UK carrying everything on my back and camping every night. My friend Rachael is also walking it with me and we have planned the whole thing ourselves. It’s a huge challenge and I’m looking forward to seeing both ends of the UK and everything in between.   I am doing this in memory of my Uncle, Simon Kirk, who sadly died in January this year after a long battle with brain cancer. The care he received at the Primrose was fantastic and the help and support the Primrose has given to my family after his death has been amazing and I feel it's the least I can do to try and give something back.   I would be hugely grateful if you could donate a few pounds, or whatever you can afford.   Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
