As I'm unable to do my normal voluntary work at the 'Forget-Me-Not- Cafe (including playing my clarinet) due to Covid  19, I've set myself a fundraising challenge to raise money for Jersey Alzheimer's Association.  Events planned by the Association this year (its 10th Anniversary Year) to raise awareness and help people afected by dementia have been seriously curtailed.  Music plays a big part in my life and can also provide emotional and behavioural benefits for people with dementia.

To raise money for JAA, I've offered to visit friends at their homes and perform three pieces of music on my clarinet (outside, with appropriate social distancing).  I also see this as a fun way for me to connect with family and friends whom I've been missing seeing during lockdown.

You are also welcome to make a donation and request that I don't play my clarinet (as suggested by my long suffering husband!).
