<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><strong>Last year I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer&nbsp;and after major surgery and chemotherapy I thought&nbsp;I had won the battle. </strong></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><strong>My cancer has now come back and&nbsp;my fight continues......</strong></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><strong>The month of March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month and on <em>26th February 2011 </em>I will be getting my head shaved to raise money for <span style="text-decoration: underline;">G.R.A.C.E </span>(my Oncologists research charity: <a href="http://www.grace-charity.org.uk">www.grace-charity.org.uk</a>) and also for <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Target Ovarian Cancer (<a href="http://www.targetovarian.org.uk">www.targetovarian.org.uk</a>)</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><strong></strong></span><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><strong>This is a very personal event for me and I would like to raise money towards researching and raising awarenss of Ovarian Cancer.&nbsp;Maybe one day there will be a cure - or at least screening for this disease. </strong></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff00ff;"><strong>Approx 7000 women a year are diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and approx 4500 women&nbsp;a year die from it.&nbsp; The UK has one of the worst survival rates of Ovarian Cancer in Europe.
