My husband has had chronic kidney disease for nearly 30 years leading to kidney failure, dialysis and 2 transplants  Without the work that kidney Wales do, he would not have survived to see his daughters grow up. Everyday is precious and brings new challenges. 

12 years ago I was honoured to give him the gift of life by donating my kidney to him.  To show how grateful we are to Kidney Wales I have decided to join team Barbarians at the UK Charity Allstars.

As a fundraiser, my daughters will be joining me in the summer 2020 paddling a kayak 70 miles from Pontypool to Brecon and back on the canal wearing some ice hockey kit.
