It is incredible that I have been chosen to run on behalf of RNIB in the 2019 London Marathon. I am a mum of 3 boys living in Radcliffe on Trent. I proudly work for Lesley Cree Opticians in the village , where we love our community, with specific care and interest for patients with visual impairment and making a positive impact on their lives.

The opportunity and challenge of the London Marathon is new to me, I’ve never run this distance and to be accepted in this event is unbelievable. I will make this opportunity one that is life changing, and hope that raising money will help those who have recently lost their sight. I know the months ahead will be tough and challenging but I will have a purpose which is this ....... to make some positive impact upon people who have just been told they will lose their sight.

Please support me on this quest to help raise money for Royal National Institute of Blind people. Every day 250 people start to lose their sight. RNIB help people who have lost their sight to find their lives again. They provide emotional support, expert advice and practical products - enabling people to live independently and enjoy everyday life.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully you will support me and donate to this worthy charity.
