I could never repay Martin House for the care that they gave Kitty and our whole family whilst she was alive, and that they continue to give us to this day.

However...I am going to try as hard as I can to do my bit to help ensure that Martin House has sufficient funds so that the next family in Yorkshire who finds themselves in the horrific situation of having a child with a life limiting illness can be sure of receiving Martin House's outstanding care.

From the moment that the doctors realised they could no longer hope to cure Kitty, Martin House entered our lives. No words can adequately explain what they did for us, but they eased Kitty's last months, supporting not only Kitty but every one of us. This care and support continued after her death, and to this day we are able to call on them whenever we have the need. 

To this end, having never run in my life, I am taking on the challenge of doing the Jane Tomlinson 10km Run for All on Sunday July 8th. This is utter madness on my part, and it is purely the prospect of raising money for Martin House that is getting me through the training (and the horrific pain in my shins after each run)! 

So PLEASE, PLEASE help me help Martin House. Every single donation will help ease the lives of families who are living with the knowledge that their son/daughter/brother/sister is going to die too soon.
