Rebecca has shown us from birth how special she is.  Rebecca was born unable to swallow with TOF/OA.  She needed a five hour operation within 24 hours of birth to help her do what most of us take for granted, swallow.  Two weeks later Rebecca was back having another operation to correct her twisted bowel. At nearly 4 years old Rebecca has had a further nine operations to stretch the original scar in her oesophagus to stop it being a stricture and obstruction to food.

The journey of learning to eat for Rebecca has been a roller coaster as any TOF parent can tell you.  It is with pride we have watched the determination, optimism and sheer bravery Rebecca has shown by continuing to try eat when it is difficult.  Rebecca still has a limited diet but never gives up on trying new foods.

TOFS has been a constant support and source of information for all parents of a TOF child.  TOFS has been the lifeline we needed when we had questions or needed information to help Rebecca.
