Apparently finishing my degree was not enough of a challenge... so the week of dissertation hand in, I intend to flee the country on my two wheeled pal, Betty.

3 countries, 8 days, many a camp site, porridge and a heck of a lot of pedal power! In March, I am planning to cycle 600 miles- from The Parkinson steps in Leeds, hop across the North Sea, through The Netherlands and a substantial part of Germany, to Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, with RAG (raise and give) for the charity Sense. A sworm of students will take to the road, lycra (fancy dress), overworked musles and much hilarity will be the theme. I may not be the fastest, but training is underway, and in perseverant tortoise style I sure do intend to reach Berlin! I will be funding my part of the trip myself, so all donations go directly to Sense, a worthy cause, and also provide very much appreciated moral support :)!
