 What a miracle!  I completed the race!  My time was 2 hours 14 minutes.  As I said before I am an inexperienced runner and I needed your support and sponsorship to get round the course, so thank you so much for that.

I ran in support of MHA's projects in the Bristol area including the new project being built in Horfield, Bristol. My Mum is a supporter and voluntary worker for the Charity.   

 

MHA provides a full range of support relevant to the needs of older people,  from companionship in our Live at Home Schemes to intensive 24-hour care in our nursing and dementia homes. Listening to personal stories and reminiscences, supporting older people as they encounter changes and challenges, as well as offering new and sometimes unexpected opportunities, is all a part of MHA’s  person-centred approach to caring. Your gift will help provide some 'extras' within the projects in the Bristol District which may include, for example, craft and activity equipment, reflexology and music therapy, sensory equipment and gardens.  All these will help to improve the quality of life of older people in MHA's care.  N.B. Charitable giving is not used to underpin the projects.
