Challenge  2 completed - about 22 mins for the 50 lengths (1 KM) so Rebecca Addlington has no worries. Hope the wind and rain give up before Saturday!

Challenge 1 completed in 9hr 41min. Really enjoyed it. Nothing like the agony I was expecting!  Total fundraising (including cheques) now £750.

Thanks so much for your support, still time if you havent yet contributed!!

As part of my ongoing mid life crisis I am completing 3 challenges in September.

The first, on  Saturday 11th September I shall be completing 50km on foot. Plan A was to "run" it but I think "on foot" is a little more realistic!.

On Wednesday 15th I shall swim 50 lengths of Bakewell pool and finally on Saturday 18th September I shall cycle 50 miles.

That should total 150 "units" which equals the number of years that RABI (Royal Agriculltural Benevolent Institution) have been supporting the rural community. Quietly and efficiently RABI have been providing support to individuals and families in times of need for 150 years. The need is no less now than it was 150 years ago.

If anyone would like to join me in all or part of one of these "little episodes" they would be most welcome.
