VSO is an international charity that fights poverty in developing countries through volunteers like myself. Along with 5 other charities VSO is part of the International Citizen service, a government scheme giving young people aged 18-25 the opportunity to take part in a project. I will be volunteering in Tanzania from mid - November to the beginning of February, working alongside other uk volunteers and locals in a community to improve issues concerning education, health, livelihoods, sexual reproductive health and the environment.
