Hi,

Kerry and I have committed to doing the Indoor Channel Swim, organised by the Gleneagles Leisure Club.  We have to swim the channel, or the equivalent distance, in the swimming pool during the month of November. Basically this means swimming about 1 mile (80 lengths) almost every day of the month.  With 8 children between us, this is as much of a logistical challenge as it is one of fitness.

We are in a recession and its the run up to christmas, but please if everyone gave just a couple of pounds we would be able to make a difference to the lives of seriously ill children.  The Children's Hospice Association of Scotland (CHAS) helps many terminally ill children and their families throughout their illness and beyond.
