What is For Life and why is their work so important?

For Life simply exists to bring life to the hundreds of disabled children living in Thailand. These children are abandoned, living in poverty, malnourished and uncared for.

Christian Care Foundation for Children with Disabilities in Thailand (CCD's) aim is to help to develop disabled children to their highest potential through a holistic approach and to ensure that disabled children have equal rights, opportunities and a good quality of life in Thailand.

My role is to give the children what many take for granted: tender, loving care.

 

How am I going to make a difference to these abandoned disabled children?

I have been given the opportunity to volunteer for 4 weeks during the summer, assisting the staff in caring for the children through physical stimulation, play and music. The charity has asked me to raise £500. No matter how small your contribution, every little helps! Each and every penny will go solely towards ForLife.
