On the 19th June I'm taking part in an organised event to raise money for Rotherham Hospice, a place I feared so much during mum's illness, but I place I will be eternally grateful for once I knew what it was like. Hospice's have certain stigma's attached to them and I want to help others understand how good they are in helping patients with pain management, care and sympton control as well as caring for pople towards the end of their lives.

This is an excellent charity that improves patients quality of life.  Their care is second to none, far better than any NHS or private care that I've ever come across yet Rotherham Hospice is run purely by receiving donations.  The hospice, most importantly made mum's life and our lives, as care givers, a little better during the time mum spent there, she was happier there and I will do all that I can to raise as much money and raise peoples awareness for this fantastic place.
