Laura and I are running the Race for Life this year following the recent diagnosis of one of Laura's favourite teachers with breast cancer. The sad and frightening thing is that this is the sort of story that everyone regularly hears. We want to do our bit to raise some money for cancer research so that survival rates can improve more and more and a diagnosis of cancer becomes ever less sad and frightening.
