BUPA Great North Run 2009 · 20 September 2009 ·

We offer holistic therapy to children & young adults, with neurological, behavioural and developmental challenges, enabling them to understand themselves and the world around them. We champion their perspective, helping others to see it too. Together we transform families’ lives so they can thrive.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A few short months ago myself and a group of 6 friends decided to do a bit of good and raise some money for Bibic 1(British Institute of Brain Injured Children)

It is fair to say that this will not come easy to most of us who are more accustomed to the comfort of our living rooms snuggling with a botle of Pinot Grigio than pounding the streets of Doncaster training for the Great North Run. The photo above shows me last time I completed the run (Its not a good look!!)

It costs Bibic £3500 to fund 1 child in their programme for just 1 year and this  is purely through charitable donations None of us ever think we will need the help of a charity like Bibic and lets pray that none of us every need their help, however knowing how they are able to change a child / familys life has spurred my friends and I to do the Great North Run and hopefully raise enough to fund another child for a year.
