Several years ago I fled domestic violence and if it wasnt for the refuge I would not of had anywhere to live.

They made me feel safe, have given me the confidence to be myself and if it wasn't for them I would not be where I am today.

I have decided to run for the Refuge because I want to give something back to them which will help women empower themselves and  stop domestic violence forever.

This is my first run so is a way of pushing myself to the limit and start me on the road to being healthier.
