Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In a moment of madness I’ve decided to take on the Thames Path Challenge with some fellow BMFers (British Military Fitness for those that don’t know). This consists of a 100k walk/run/march from Putney to Henley. Our aim is to complete it in 24hrs which is a massive challenge. This will no doubt involve a great deal of blood, sweat, tears and some sleep deprived hysteria along the way.

As always, there are so many worthy charities but this time I have decided to raise money for Help for Heroes. Their mission is to deliver an enduring network of support for Service men and women who have suffered life changing injuries in the line of duty. They provide rehabilitation, recovery centres along with ongoing support for the wounded and their families.  There are also programmes to help seriously wounded Service personnel regain their independence and confidence and focus on what they can achieve, rather than on what they can’t. I can’t list all the ways in which this charity helps, but after serious consideration I feel it really is a fantastic and deserving cause.

If I manage to raise my target of £400 my employers (NPL) have agreed match it. This is a huge incentive and a target I desperately want to achieve. Therefore, I would be very grateful if you could spare a little of your hard earned cash and donate whatever you can. I realise that times are hard, but even the smallest of amounts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to read my JustGiving page and I really appreciate all your support and donations.
