A Massive thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, Please dig deep to make a donation no matter how big or small as it all makes a difference.

My friend/work colleague (Amanda Podmore) and I (Sarah Taylor) had decided we really wanted to do something for charity this year but we didn't want to do the usual, Fun Run, Marathon, or Abseil ect which everyone seems to do a lot of, we wanted something that would be challenging enough for us to seriously think about having to commit and make a promise that we will carry this through to the end no matter what happens, which is why we decided to do this particular challenge "Alton Towers Fright Night" in aid of "The Anthony Nolan Trust" who raise money to help people with Leukaemia & Blood Cancer's so they can give sufferers the chance to fight for survival.

-

For our Alton Towers Fright Night Challenge we will be staying through the night from Friday 8th of April at 9pm to 4am to Saturday 9th April in this 8th Century Gothic Mansion. There has been confirmed paranormal activities and sightings in this House on a few occasions, and during the evening we will be joined by TV's "Most Haunted" program's Ghost Hunters and Mediums to try to find something or just to spook us out of our wits basically.  This is defiantly not an easy challenge for either of us, some people may say this is a walk in the park, but for me that couldn't be more wrong, I'm very easily spooked out and I have genuinely got really scared for the the most silly reasons. I was alone watching Harry Potter which I had to turn off! because it was getting a bit spooky which every one laughs about, It makes me feel really paranoid and I don't like being left on my own anywhere even when I go to the Loo!!!, So this challenge will be a massive deal for us both to cope with and fingers crossed we will get through the night in one piece, my nerves may not be in tact but I'm confident we will do it.

The Anthony Nolan Trust is very close to my heart as I lost my Dad to Leukaemia when he was just 44 yrs old and I was 18 at the time, The Anthony Nolan Trust could have helped us to find a match for a Bone Marrow Transplant which could have saved his life and would have been here with us today, however unfortunately this was not an option at the time. I also have a very Brave Aunty who is fighting Leukaemia and she is doing well at the moment, and I also know other people who are suffering and fighting this terrible cancer and just cannot begin to imagine how they deal with it.

-

My two young Children will never see their Granddad, we talk about him a such a lot and look at photo's which is absolutely heart-breaking, so If I can help raise some well deserved money and awareness of this charity and the work they do, will make this all worth while, and if this helps to prevent other family's having to endure the Heart-Ache and suffering my Dad and our whole family had gone through then this is very much worth every penny spent! "Oh and not forgetting about it being worth every second we will spend in that Terrifying Haunted Gothic Mansion." !!!
