<p><span style="color: #808080; text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Its ok you can skip this bit and just give us lots of money!</strong></span></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #808080;">Oh, ok you want to know more?</span></strong>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #808080;">Well, George, myself&nbsp;and his class are raising funds to go on <span style="color: #ff6600;">a class trip</span> to match all class trips, a rite of passage (<span style="color: #ff6600;">think lord of the flies</span>) where they will be <span style="color: #ff6600;">pushed to their physical limits and learn amazing new skills</span>, whilst undergoing <span style="color: #ff6600;">an incredible adventure </span>that they will remember for the rest of their lives. </span></p> <p><span style="color: #808080;">But&nbsp;its going to&nbsp;cost money, so to <span style="color: #ff6600;">ensure that the trip is accessible </span>to all of the children in George's class, the children will each be raising money to put into the community pot. </span></p> <p><span style="color: #808080;">The ride itself will be <span style="color: #ff6600;">a huge challenge </span>(I don't know many adults who could complete this ride let alone a group of inexperienced 13 &amp; 14 year old kids), George and I will be riding from <span style="color: #ff6600;">Reading to Gloucester via Bristol off-road in three days.</span> It will be <span style="color: #ff6600;">150 miles in total (thats a bottom-aching&nbsp;50 miles a day). </span>The most any of them has done before is 10 miles so its going to take months of training and hard work to achieve this great challenge (mainly in the rain and wind this winter oh joy).</span></p> <p><span style="color: #808080;">And...</span></p> <p><span style="color: #808080;"><strong>The children didn't just want to raise money for their trip. They also felt strongly that they wanted to help children and their families in East Africa, who are suffering terribly due to&nbsp;the current drought. So we are also raising money for an amazing charity called&nbsp;ActionAid.
