Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My son, Robert has Klinefelter Syndrome (KS). Men and boys affected with this condition often have (amongst other things), difficulties with self-confidence, making friends and physical coordination. Every year the UK Klinefelter Syndrome Association (KSA) runs an activity weekend at Duke's Barn in the village of Beeley, Derbyshire (http://www.dukesbarn.org/). Robert loves these weekends, which we have now been attending for the last three years. They are a great opportunity to meet and have fun with other people who have been affected in some way by KS (men, boys and their families) and the boys get plenty of time to practise all those "difficult" skills in a friendly, safe and non-competitive environment. We have abseiled, stream-walked, canoed, zip-wired, weaseled and caved, then finished off the day with a bit of pool and some wild games of ping-pong.

Your money will help to subsidise future activity weekends for KS men and boys at Duke’s Barn.

Thank you very much for your support!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
