My story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for running the Virgin London Marathon! I am a Zumba instructor/special needs marketeer, and I am raising money for Carers UK, a fantastic charity that work to improve the lives of millions of carers providing unpaid care by looking after ill, frail or disabled family members, friends or partners - often at the expense of their own health: www.carersuk.org
Basically, Carers are heroes... and if they can be that strong, selfless, brave and kind, then I should be able to run 26.2 miles, right?
In addition to this page, I am fundraising by running an extra
****Zumba class on Saturday mornings****
(starting 12th November, Severn Vale School, Quedgeley, Gloucester 10-11am)
where ALL the money will go towards my charity pledge to Carers UK of £2,000, so you'll get a booty-shaking, hip-wiggling hour of calorie burning fun AND help a charity at the same time.
What a perfect win-win way to kickstart the weekend? Even if you just come once, you're still helping the charity!
