We both love mountains and have always wanted to do a challenge like this – this one is a major one for us (and our supporting families!). Hiking for 8 days (from Feb 2<sup>nd</sup> 2011) sometimes for 14 hours in temperatures ranging from -20 to +20⁰C over rough terrain – to reach a final altitude of 19,340ft (exactly 2/3rds the height of Everest) – we will need some motivation!! So to help us, we would love to have your support by making a donation to our chosen charity Action for Children ("AFC"). AFC provides complete care and support for deprived and neglected children in the UK. AFC are raising desperately needed money to develop targeted, effective initiatives that tackle the key causes of neglect.
