On Sunday April 11th this year, Sarah and Sally will be running the Paris Marathon. Neither of us has done a marathon before... but it can't be that hard... can it?!
We have decided to run the marathon in honour of a dear friend of the family, Charlie Gaunt, who passed away this year. Charlie was a really super, energetic and fun person, so we feel that this is a fitting way to remember him. As such we would like to raise money for the North West air ambulance who helped so much with Charlie.
The North West Air Ambulance is a charity which operates the only emergency air ambulance in the North West. They arrive at any emergency, including road incidents, accidents, falls and heart attacks, sporting and rural injuries. Their 2 helicopters operate across the North West, covering a residential population of 7 million people and they need to raise £4 million a year to keep helping people.
Please help us to help a really good cause.
